I lead Tomorrow’s Air, the first global initiative in travel combining climate education with funding for innovative climate solutions: sustainable aviation fuel and carbon removal with permanent storage technologies.

I use this personal website to share what I’m working on now and organize past projects.

I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska.

Think hiking, fishing, skiing, dogs,

old VW cars, cabins, berrypicking.

After college in New York and Washington, D.C.

I worked as a management consultant.

A trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon changed my perspective on life and inspired me to start a boutique consulting practice (Xola Consulting) focused on sustainable tourism.

Xola projects kept me busy working

in countries around the world.

In 2013, I retired Xola Consulting (it became an online booking software company!) and after a brief stint as part of a consulting team focused on advancing global development through digital technology, I joined the Adventure Travel Trade Association.

There I established and led the first adventure travel guide standard working group and three new business units: education, research, and adventure safety advisory.
